Job Description

Job Summary Working in a team environment, the Recruiting Coordinator role is charged with supporting recruiting functions and initiatives at GPC. This position reports to the Recruiting Operations Supervisor and is part of the Recruiting Operations team located in the Employee Service Center (ESC). This position provides elevated service support to both our internal and external customers and will ensure overall accuracy in our recruiting practices. This position will routinely perform tasks ranging from job requisition management, candidate management, interview scheduling and candidate onboarding. Responsibilities Research and resolve all recruiting, pre-employment, and onboarding system or process inquiries from internal talent acquisition teams, hiring managers, and applicants. Review, approve, and post all job requisitions within our applicant tracking system (ATS), which also includes role assignment and job board management. Provide administrative support to our internal talent acquisition teams to attract top talent, ranging from talent community engagement, campaign (text or email) administration, and support during hiring events. Identify position vacancies and support management teams to proactively advertise hiring needs. Consistently build and maintain strong relationships with the internal HR community and hiring managers. Coordinate with internal talent acquisition teams, hiring manager and applicants to schedule interviews. Coordinate post-offer to hire process, including: Creating offer letters Launching background checks and scheduling drug screens Adjudicating background checks and making hiring decisions Completing the hire Acting as the primary point of contact for the candidate throughout the recruiting and onboarding process Communicating status updates and progress to the talent acquisition team and hiring managers Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning job postings, recruiting practices and pre-hire employment. Provide support to acquisition employees who need assistance with adjusting and completing onboarding tasks. Identify opportunities that enhance the candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experience. Ability to execute special projects, as assigned. Qualifications Positive Customer Service skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Technology savvy - ability to quickly learn systems and utilize technology to manage work. Knowledgeable of background and drug screen administration and pre-employment compliance 1+ years of experience in recruiting or onboarding High degree of self-motivation and initiative in managing multiple projects, contributing towards group goals, and driving for results. Good knowledge of computer networking Ability to manage multiple customer service requests and priorities concurrently while maintaining professionalism and concise communication. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Knowledgeable of background and drug screen administration and pre-employment compliance Experience with Workday, or any other applicant tracking system preferred. Comfortable making decisions and multitasking. Demonstrated product knowledge and dedication to operational excellence. Physical Demands / Working Environment This job is located out of GPC's global headquarters. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
