Recycling Laborer (11am-7:30pm) Job Description The Recycling Laborer supports site operations by handling non-hazardous waste materials in an outdoor environment. This role focuses on safely moving and preparing barrels for processing, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean and efficient work area. Responsibilities Move barrels of non-hazardous waste materials off trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Weigh barrels before processing and accurately record weights and other required information. Wash and clean barrels according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Log batches and maintain clear, accurate records of materials processed. Support general site operations related to non-hazardous waste disposal and recycling activities. Perform general labor tasks as needed to keep the work area organized, clean, and safe. Follow all safety protocols and use proper techniques when handling materials and equipment. Work effectively in an outdoor environment and adapt to changing weather conditions. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in an outdoor environment. Ability to handle physical work, including lifting, moving, and positioning barrels and other materials. Basic understanding of safe material handling practices. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Attention to detail when weighing, washing, and logging barrels and batches. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in construction, waste disposal, or field service work. Experience working in general labor roles, particularly in outdoor settings. Comfort working around non-hazardous waste and following related procedures. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is fully outdoors, working in the elements throughout the year. You will work in a site-based environment with trucks, barrels, and related equipment, following safety procedures and wearing appropriate work attire suitable for outdoor, hands-on tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75/hr.
