Job Description Job Summary:

​We are looking for a Recycling Sorter/Processor to join our team in the Omak area. This role involves collecting and sorting recyclable materials, ensuring the finished product meets industry specifications by removing contaminants. You will also operate machinery, conduct equipment inspections, and collaborate with ​o​thers to resolve any issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles and machinery (balers, forklifts, skid steer loaders)​.
• Sort recyclable materials and remove contaminants from the product stream.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine cleaning and housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain ​excellent attendance, safety, and quality of work.

Qualifications:

• A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and transition between different ​tasks.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; industry experience is an asset.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Full Time Schedule:

Monday-Friday​ 6am to 2pm.
