Recycling Yard Worker

Overview The Yard Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our outdoor recycling center. This position involves various tasks that ensure the smooth flow of materials within the yard. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Will need to perform standard yard worker job functions. Offer great customer service to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct routine inspections of recycling material brought in from customers. Support the recycling center by moving materials as needed throughout the facility, and/or perform other general labor duties. Take picture of the containers and the materials being loaded. Assist with any non-ferrous duties (sort & prep materials, weigh bales, place FG's in the designated areas) Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Skills Must be bilingual or able to communicate with and understand Spanish-speaking customers. Must have computer skills. Must have customer service experience. Must have experience operating a sit-down forklift Must have knowledge of non-ferrous materials Must be able to us a smartphone. Ability to multitask

Schedule Monday-Friday:

6:00 am - 4:15 pm Saturday (when needed): 6:00 am - 11 am
