Referral Coordinator

Must have strong medical terminology, attention to detail, good computer and telephone skills. Job functions include but no limited to: Processes authorizations/referrals Communicates with providers/primary care physicians Checks benefits Coordinates with Eligibility Department Answers phones: Checks authorization status Verifies authorizations Verifies historical matters Distributes referrals/denials
