Referral Coordinator (Float)

What You'll Do:

Work directly with patients to arrange and schedule appointments. Plan, implement, and follow up on patient referrals generated by primary care physicians or mid-level providers. Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling and maintaining accurate referral records. Communicate referral details and follow-ups with the medical team to ensure continuity of care. Coordinate with healthcare providers, specialists, and insurance companies to facilitate seamless patient transitions. Travel between multiple office locations within the network to provide support as needed. Provide extended coverage at specific offices to accommodate vacations and time-off requests.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in medical referrals, scheduling, or administrative healthcare roles preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
