Referral Specialist

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our clinic as a Referral Specialist. As part of our team, you process insurance authorizations, answer phones, maintain and update health care records, and perform data entry. This position requires a highly organized professional with excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette. Our ideal candidate also has prior experience within a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology. A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred) At least two years of experience in a medical office or similar setting Accurate typing and data entry skills Superb customer service and communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA requirements regarding patient confidentiality
