$21.39 - $30.00 per hour We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our manufacturing and engineering team. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low-temperature refrigeration systems in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on refrigeration experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities :

Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangement drawings Assemble, test, dehydrate, charge, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems Perform high-quality silver soldering on copper refrigeration systems up to 3 inches in diameter Bend, flare, and install copper tubing to required specifications Troubleshoot low-temperature refrigeration systems using technical diagrams and schematics Support preventive maintenance and assist with off-site installation projects Monitor refrigerant inventory and maintain accurate documentation Provide support for refrigeration procedures, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives Train team members and administer refrigeration soldering tests as needed Assist with additional manufacturing and maintenance activities when required

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; trade school training preferred Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems and troubleshooting Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently in a manufacturing or job shop environment Experience with silver soldering and copper tubing assembly preferred EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification strongly preferred Experience with preventive maintenance and field installations is a plus
