Job Description MediaTek USA is looking for applicants with solid experience in Field Application Engineering across IoT, Smart Fitness, Smart Appliances, Security & Surveillance, Robotics, Home & Building Automation, and wired and wireless products. The candidate will play a key technical support role in support for IoT OEM Customers. Applicant will be responsible for supporting MediaTek chipsets for IoT OEMs in North America, particularly in embedded SW and SoC system integration. Applicant will also drive cross-functional teams for failure/root cause analysis and implement corrective action measures with the internal team across MediaTek; has the ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing environment requiring efficient and timely decision making; has strong communication skills toward internal stakeholders and customers, and the ability to lead and develop new processes and ideas. Required Skills Knowledge of IoT SoC applications and Wi-Fi Physical layer and basic protocols and always look further to find the core of the issues and thoroughly understand root causes.
  • Effective technical communication skills and consistently seek enhancement from the end users' perspective so as to generate value to our customers.
  • Can do mentality and solid issue-solving methodology. Not afraid to take on challenges or face obstacles.
  • Experienced in cross-cultural and cross-functional situations to effectively coordinate multiple technical domains and synergize on each other's accomplishments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally to effectively engage our customers and purposefully collaborate with our customers on their anticipated future business needs.
