Regional Outside Sales Representative:
Industrial Hydraulic Sales experience is required (Heavy Equipment•Oil & Gas, Mining)
Region:
Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California Responsible for building and managing territory sales. Develop productive, and effective, relationships with your customers at all levels. Provide support to all efforts to gain prospective customers and establish a strong client base.

Schedule:
Monday thru Friday (hours will fluctuate based on client's hours)
Travel:
Regional up to 50-70% (Quarterly corporate meetings in Wisconsin)
Base Salary:
Based on experience and background•Up to $100K annually
Bonus:
Performance Award Plan, paid quarterly: Up to $30K a year

You must have•Industrial Hydraulic Sales•experience ; a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Sales with at least 3-5 years in an Outside Sales position
Preferred:
Sales experience to Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, and/or Heavy Equipment sales
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience in a Sales Management or Business Development role (Applications Engineers, Sales Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers)
Please Note:
This is a sales (Outside Sales) position. You will be building your book of business based on leads provided by your Sales Director and through your individual door-knocking sales efforts. This is not an Operations Manager or Logistics Manager position.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative will execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California. The Outside Sales Representative will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Outside Sales Representative will typically undertake the following duties alone or in collaboration with other personnel in the sales department. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing business with major and moderately sized OEM's and customers for the company's line of hydraulic components. The product includes a line of world class custom welded hydraulic cylinders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish, manage and grow the business relationship with assigned and target accounts. Build high-level customer relationships with key decision makers to influence buying decisions and effectively communicate with the Voice-of-Customer (VoC). Provide contribution to overall strategic direction of company driving a clear customer focus and favorable market position. Develop and monitor bottom-up and top-down multi-year sales forecasts, communicating to key finance and management functions. Segment and analyze target growth markets. Understand their size, key market drivers and competitive requirements. Open up and develop new OEM relationships within the market. Execute sales strategy aligned with corporation direction. Support strategic initiatives that grow 'new product' sales through the communication and leverage of R&D activity. Maintain a strong, visible sales pipeline with appropriate tollgate points for soliciting, screening, product proposal, pricing and follow up. Solicit, analyze, and communicate customer requirements to product steering committee and engineering team. Maintain a close working relationship with the engineering and production departments. Monitor and assess competitor activity and respond accordingly. Manage conflict resolution matters as they arise. Assist our finance department with the resolution of any outstanding payment issues. Seek and obtain industry certifications to provide credibility to the sales force.
MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to during the completion of all duties and responsibilities and support all other employees to achieve the same. Support the overall achievement of the company's goals as strategically coordinated by the VP of Sales and Customer Service. Work on the assigned personal development strategy based on the goals and objectives of the customer service group, business succession planning and related organizational strategies. Represent the quality group on cross-functional teams or when coordinating, assisting or attending events, or visits with interested parties (e.g. suppliers, customers, stakeholders, etc.).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES
Substitutes for the sales department as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(4) Four-year bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical degree. A minimum of 5 plus years of proven sales and sales management experience in hydraulic component technical sales or business development for a manufacturer. Experience working directly with oil and gas industry (land based)

Must have a strong industrial and technical background, with a track record of growing strategic relationships with key customers. Strong fluid power industry and product knowledge. Demonstrated track record of delivering sustained sales growth. Demonstrated ability to create ideas and implement solutions. Very strong communication skills•Ability to interface with customers. Competent data analysis skills are critical for assembling information used for key decisions. Organized, good planning and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Must have solid commercial/negotiation skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Must be willing to travel 50-70%. Sales territory includes Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California.
