Job Summary:
We are 140-year US Gear, Gear Drive, and Repair organization with high performance engineering and design capabilities seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial gears and gear drives or relevant industry end user experience in power transmission gear applications and will be responsible for managing and growing sales region. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with customers, and eventually managing a team of sales professionals.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the region. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers. Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and internal teams. Provide technical and application support for gearing opportunities. Provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure they are meeting their targets and delivering excellent customer service. Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential customers. Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the company is well positioned in the market. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management. Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting of sales revenue.Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the following disciplines, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in specific industrial gears and gear drives sales or work experience in industrial base containing gears/gear drives. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a designated region. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams. Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
