Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Regional Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that combines driving, logistics, and customer service. In this position, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across designated regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and clients. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing top-tier service to our customers. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Transport various types of freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, ensuring secure load handling Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, following proper safety procedures Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transportation Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and various specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks Familiarity with freight handling procedures for load & unload operations using forklifts or other equipment Strong knowledge of route driving principles and safety protocols for commercial driving environments Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatch teams and customers effectively Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different vehicle types and freight loads This position is ideal for motivated drivers eager to advance their careers in regional trucking.
