Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting students with autism and significant behavioral needs. This position calls for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is ready to make an immediate impact through the rest of the current school year, with potential extension based on district requirements. The assignment provides full-time hours in a structured special education setting and offers the chance to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and active RBT certification required Experience in a school setting is highly valued Demonstrated ability to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with intensive behavioral and communication needs Familiarity with implementing and documenting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), conducting behavior tracking, and utilizing de-escalation techniques SafetyCare training is a strong plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver intensive behavioral and classroom support for high-needs students with autism Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and other professionals to create an optimal learning environment Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized BIPs Accurately collect behavior data and report observations Employ de-escalation strategies to maintain a supportive and safe atmosphere Foster a steady, structured classroom environment tailored to each student's needs If you're ready for a meaningful role where your expertise as an RBT can help students achieve their full potential, don't hesitate—apply today to start as soon as possible.
