6/29/26-7/24/26: Monday-Thursday, 8am-3pm 6.5 hours/day, 26 hours/week

W-2 About the Role Inclusive Learning Partners is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician RBT to join our team for the 2025-26 school year. This position is a 2:1 caseload working at a licensed child Institution-group home with a male. Will be working with severe disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans, supporting academic instruction, and assisting with personal care as needed. You will work collaboratively with educators, BCBAs, and support staff to ensure students' safety and success in school.
Caseload:
1 RBT needed to accompany male 19 year old student on bus ride from group home in Grossmont to Adult Transition Program (ATP) in San Marcos, CA. The RBT will be expected to ride the bus with the student from group home to ATP, then from ATP back to group home in Grossmont. RBT will help with behavior intervention services to support 1 student 2:1 in the district's Adult Transition Program (ATP), two RBTs with 1 student at the same time. This is a 2:1 case for a male 19 year old student exhibiting severe behaviors
  • physical aggression (hitting, kicking, punching, biting), non-compliance, Extensive Support Needs (ESN), & Autism.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred. Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 1 or more years of experience working with students with special needs, specifically severe behaviors including physical aggression (hitting, kicking, etc), non-compliance, Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Knowledge of ABA principles and practices. Drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance and Livescan fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and FBI. TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Willingness to complete all necessary ILP and state mandated trainings during onboarding
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move students as necessary. Physical stamina to actively engage with students throughout the school day. Capability to implement physical interventions as part of student behavior plans, when required.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Implement ABA Programs:
  • Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA.
  • Use ABA techniques to support student learning and behavior improvement.
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors.
2.
Direct Student Support:
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to teach and reinforce skills.
  • Assist in the development of communication, social, and adaptive skills.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and behavior support to students.
3.
Collaboration:
  • Communicate regularly with the BCBA, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Participate in team meetings to review student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Support the development and modification of instructional materials.
4.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance.
  • Prepare reports on student progress and behavior for review by the BCBA and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding student data.
5.
Professional Development:
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA.
  • Maintain RBT certification and adhere to ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
