Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the life of a 4th-grade student as an experienced Registered Behavior Technician. This contract role places you onsite in a supportive educational environment, where your skills will help guide and support positive behavioral change for a student with moderate needs and significant aggressive behaviors. In this position, you'll work directly with students and partner closely with educational teams to implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies. Your experience and compassion will empower your student to grow, develop new skills, and thrive throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Proven track record of working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors Extensive experience in school or pediatric settings, with applied knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff, therapists, and families Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations Must be available to work full-time onsite
Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 support to a 4th-grade student following individualized behavior intervention plans Collect and document behavioral data with attention to accuracy and confidentiality Collaborate with special education teams to adapt intervention techniques as needed Provide consistent, proactive behavioral support throughout the school day Participate in ongoing training and school meetings as directed
