Job Summary:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or emotional and behavioral issues. Part-time positions with morning, afternoon or evening shifts possible. Part-time positions with possibility of transitioning into Full Time position if desired.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Provide direct patient care and support in accordance with individualized care plans Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior Support individuals in developing social skills and promoting positive behaviors Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, pursuing a college degree, or 2 years of experience working with children; Good communication skills and professional demeanor Excellent organizational, written, communication skills Must have a valid drivers license, valid car insurance, and have personal reliable transportation Must be able to submit to a background check and have a good driving record Certification in CPR If you have not completed RBT training, you will be required to do so.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs (average weight of child) and comfortable sitting on the floor Must be able to walk, run, and play with children Preference Given to: Prior ABA experience Bachelors in a related field (education, psychology, applied behavior analysis), or work experience equivalent RBT certification Seeking BCBA or BCaBA certification supervision If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism, we encourage you to apply.
