Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through effective behavioral therapy techniques. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Assist in the development and modification of care plans based on client progress and needs. Collect data on client behavior and progress to inform treatment adjustments. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while promoting positive behavior. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Skills Strong background in patient care, particularly within behavioral health settings. Experience working with children, especially those with special education needs or autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Ability to assist in developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual client needs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
