Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with school experience to join our school team. The RBT will work directly with one 6th grade student during summer school to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role involves providing support in daily living activities, collecting data on behavior progress, and assisting in the development of individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in behavioral therapy. This is a 1099 position. Summer school hours are approximately 7:45-3:15. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist student with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and skill development. Collect and record data on student behavior to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Provide support in teaching social skills, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with FERPA regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively. Qualifications RBT certification. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques. Strong data collection skills to monitor progress accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
