Job Description
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Job Overview We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities, providing one-on-one therapy based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position plays a vital role in promoting meaningful behavior change and enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions in various settings (home, school, clinic). Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and document accurate, timely data on client behavior and skill acquisition. Support clients in developing essential daily living and social communication skills. Assist in behavior reduction strategies to promote a safe and productive environment. Participate in team meetings and provide input on client progress. Maintain professional and respectful communication with families, team members, and other stakeholders. Ensure all documentation and session notes are completed in compliance with company and insurance standards. Qualifications & Skills RBT Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to hire). Experience working with children or individuals with autism/developmental disabilities preferred. Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior intervention techniques. Ability to collect, interpret, and report behavioral data. Familiarity with behavioral health documentation and record-keeping. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
