Job Description

Overview Under One Umbrella LLC is a company that prioritizes individualized intervention. Services are developed to fit the child and provided in a comfortable environment with the assistance of the family or assigned adademic team. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a crucial role in providing direct support and intervention to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Supervision is provided on site, and in monthly in-person team meetings. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress and behavior changes. Assist clients in developing daily living skills, social skills, and communication abilities. Provide support in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive medical records and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with special education principles and practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience. Ability to educate clients and families on behavioral strategies effectively. Proficiency in managing medical records related to patient care. Training Remote and in-person paid training provided to those without the RBT certification through the BACB. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with developmental challenges while working within a supportive team environment.
