Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans, focusing on skill development and behavior management for children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care tasks to promote independence. Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor progress, inform treatment adjustments, and ensure compliance with established care plans. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce problematic behaviors in a supportive manner. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and updates to client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with supervisors, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care delivery and effective communication about client progress. Adhere to all safety protocols, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines related to behavioral health and medical records management. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to teach new skills using positive reinforcement strategies in a patient, encouraging manner. Skilled in data collection methods to track behavioral progress accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance for safeguarding sensitive information. Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients and families. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support clients' emotional well-being and development. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
