Job Description

REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
General Job Description ABA hires qualified individuals to implement clinic, community, and care-facility-based treatment programs. ABA therapists are an essential part of the company and directly influence clients' success. Therapists report to the ABA supervisor responsible over the client's case (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and are provided with a mentor (Lead Therapist) that will conduct coaching extensions and provides support when the BCBA is not present. ABA provides extensive initial and ongoing training and support. This position is non-exempt and is FULL time. The hours for the position are 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday ONLY! All services are provided in clinic which means commuting from one location to another is NOT required. Additionally, dental and medical insurance is available for all full-time employees! Given the recent pandemic, we are pleased to also provide an assurance that ALL employees are guaranteed the hours they were hired for
REGARDLESS
of client cancellations! This provides a stable income that is not reliant on client's well-being (i.e., client being out due to sickness) or other issues (i.e., Covid-19 restrictions, closures, etc.). Line of Authority Reports to Board Certified Behavior Analyst Responsibilities Represent ABA professional and ethically Provide top-quality therapy in all settings under the direction of a BCBA Attend introductory and ongoing training Maintain accurate and timely records including timesheets and reports Report to BCBA on client progress Participate in regular meetings Minimize cancellations Maintain billable requirements Assist Lead Behavior Technician and BCBA with creating and maintaining materials for clinic Sessions Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Working Environment Staff are to work at the clinic office or in inclusion classrooms at a private school in North Austin (Leander). Staff will not have to travel to client's houses. Qualifications Experience/interest in working with children High School diploma; coursework or completion of degree in related field preferred Availability of 40 hours per week Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance No past criminal history
Qualities:
