This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a full schedule at a busy and growing dental office. Our office utilizes Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and EMS Airflow technology for prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, and we will provide training and resources to become a certified provider. Dr. Godbolt is Kois trained in addition to having his Master's through the AGD, and he is committed to offering the latest in dental care. We are a close knit team, looking for a great team player who is reliable, eager to learn, and able to build relationships with patients of all ages in our wonderful Sandpoint community. Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontists
• Utilize Guided Biofilm Therapy to remove plaque, stain and tartar from teeth and gums
• Educate and communicate with patients of all ages on proper teeth care and dental conditions
• Take X-rays and digital dental impressions (iTero scanner)
• Be a partner to the dentist in order to ensure appropriate treatments for various diseases
• Maintain accurate documentation and charts for patients
• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Monitor and maintain supplies and dental equipment Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g. HIPAA and OSHA)
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Outstanding communication skills
• Patient and friendly personality
• Dental hygienist license & certificates
• CPR certified
