Registered Dental Hygienist

Our private practice located in Norwalk, IA is looking to add a full-time dental hygienist to add to our growing practice. Our practice offers modern dentistry as well as a wonderful upbeat place to work. We need an individual that values those qualities and would want to enrich that environment. We are a very busy office with little down time. Multitasking abilities are essential. We want a candidate that comes in everyday with a smile and is ready to deliver the best possible customer service and care to our patients. Teamwork is essential to keep our fast-paced office moving smoothly so we are looking for a hygienist that is enthusiastic about their job and being an active part of a team. Candidate must be a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Iowa and able to perform duties within the scope of practice established by regulations and rules of the State of Iowa and the Iowa Board of Dentistry.

Responsibilities would include:

SRP and perio maintenance procedures, adult and child prophylaxis, taking x-rays, scheduling 6 month recalls, educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment needs, proper infection control protocol, among other lesser duties. Experience with Open Dental software would be a definite bonus. Hours and salary are negotiable. This position is considered full-time and benefits are available.
