Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide nutritional assessments, counseling, and education to clients residing in our behavioral health treatment program. You will collaborate with our clinical team to support each client's overall treatment and recovery goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual nutritional assessments for residential clients Develop and implement individualized meal and nutrition plans aligned with each client's treatment goals Provide nutrition education and counseling to clients, including those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Collaborate with clinical staff, including therapists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure integrated care Document all services accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies Monitor client nutritional progress and adjust plans as needed Support menu planning and review in coordination with facility staff Qualifications Current registration as an RD or RDN with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Active Maryland state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or residential care settings preferred Familiarity with the nutritional needs of individuals with substance use and mental health disorders Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Comfortable working with a diverse client population What We Offer Flexible per diem scheduling Meaningful work supporting clients in recovery A collaborative, mission-driven team environment Competitive per diem compensation (commensurate with experience) To Apply Submit your resume and a brief statement of interest through Indeed.
