9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care, patient education, and dietary planning in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assess patients' nutritional needs, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure proper dietary interventions to support patient health outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized care plans Monitor and educate patients on food and drug interactions Collaborate with physicians on diet modifications and treatment plans Review and interpret lab results, medical history, and clinical data Conduct patient and family interviews regarding dietary habits and preferences Provide nutrition education and document dietary instructions and patient understanding Modify patient menus as needed based on medical conditions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or related field

Certifications & Licensure:

For Acute Care:

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

For Post-Acute Care:

New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (NYSED) (required at hire)

Experience:
