Per HR Description:

• This position involves providing nursing care under the supervision of a nurse supervisor in an onsite setting in Commack, NY.
• The role is contract-based, with evening shifts from Friday to Tuesday.
• Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health and safety, and training direct care staff.

Requirements:

• Monitor and assist in the overall health and safety of individuals served.
• Supervise and train staff regarding medication administration and health issues.
• Complete yearly recertification for medication-certified personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Generate and document incident, seizure, and illness reports.
• Ensure maintenance and review of medical records per guidelines.
• Monitor medication supply and maintain medical goods and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred.
• Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current New York county license.
