Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing clinical care to facility residents and make appropriate referrals as necessary to ensure that residents' medical needs are met Provide emergency first-aid treatment for all youth and staff, comply with the facility medical, dental, and psychiatric providers orders and treatment protocols Triage and treat residents who present with symptoms of medical/dental/psychiatric illness/injury . Assist in the development and implementation of resident individualized medical/dental/psychiatric plans, to ensure that each resident has access to health care services, which are based upon his/her identified needs. Administer prescribed medications/treatments; observe, record and report symptoms, vital signs and reactions to medications and treatment regimens Complete necessary nursing treatments, obtain appropriate specimens and administer immunizations and screening examinations/assessments in compliance with regulations and physician orders . Coordinate appointments and transportation of residents who are referred to off-site health care practitioners so that appropriate follow-up care is received. Prepare, document and maintain resident/staff medical records .
