Job Summary:
Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans using the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to optimize outcomes and resource utilization. Provide triage, treatment, evaluation, discharge planning, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality patient care and effective communication. Educate patients and families based on age, culture, condition, and learning needs. Delegate patient care tasks appropriately and support/precept student nurses and new hires as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with organizational policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines. Demonstrate critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old (21 for positions requiring driving with a valid driver's license). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must pass background check, pre-employment drug screen, and breath alcohol test (if applicable). Must complete Employee Health requirements before employment begins. Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license required. Current BLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire). ACLS certification required (or obtained within 6 months of hire). PALS or ENPC, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP certifications required (or obtained within 1 year of hire). Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. Two years of hospital nursing experience preferred.
