Manage acute pain cases, trauma medicine scenarios at Level I or Level II trauma centers, and provide hospice or palliative care when appropriate. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements. Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in the applicable state or jurisdiction with current certification. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU/CCU/PICU units, emergency rooms, or outpatient clinics. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth platforms. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, and ventilator support preferred. Excellent communication skills for patient education, triage assessments, case management activities, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques necessary for maintaining safety during invasive procedures. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus; familiarity with geriatrics or memory care is advantageous. Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred but not mandatory.
