What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), your day will be filled with meaningful interactions and the chance to make a lasting impact on residents' lives.

Key responsibilities include:

Direct Care :

Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders, and take full responsibility for resident care.

Collaborate and Communicate :

Work closely with physicians, supervisors, and families to ensure the best care for residents.

Assessment & Supervision :

Complete resident assessments and supervise LPNs in gathering important data.

Workforce Coordination :

Partner with the Director of Nursing to manage special care needs, resident transfers, and staffing workload.

Admissions & Family Involvement :

Plan for resident admissions, involving families in the care process.

Comfort & Support :

Provide emotional and physical comfort to residents, offering families the support they need.

Leadership :

Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), supporting their development and ensuring top-quality care. What You Need to

Succeed:

Graduate of a state-approved nursing program Current Iowa RN license CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed Excellent attendance and reliability Additionally, when applying, you'll have the opportunity to specify your preferred shift , and weekly hours .
