Rotating weekends, with 7 day per week availability) How you'll make an impact in this role Lead nursing operations across assigned specialty units by coordinating staffing, supporting clinical quality, and ensuring safe, efficient patient care delivery. Coordinate daily patient care assignments and monitor staffing productivity to support quality improvement, patient safety, and effective interdisciplinary team collaboration. Provide leadership and direct support to nursing and clinical staff through coaching, shift planning, performance oversight, and patient care guidance. Assess patient care needs and prioritize resources to ensure population-appropriate direct patient care across high-acuity clinical specialty environments. Respond to patient care concerns and support service recovery efforts while maintaining compliance with healthcare policies and patient safety standards. Collaborate with leadership teams on hiring, staff development, and clinical training initiatives that strengthen patient outcomes and operational performance. Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
