Registered Nurse CVOR

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This role offers the chance to join a dedicated surgical team and contribute expertise in a high-acuity setting. The assignment is 13 weeks in duration, with an immediate start date preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

Four 10-hour shifts per week (GWW 40) Day shifts with varied hours Includes participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation (minimum of 14 call shifts required)

Qualifications:

Active California RN license in good standing Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required) At least 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR setting Minimum of 1 year of travel RN experience Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

Circulate and/or scrub in complex cardiovascular cases including open heart and vascular procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to evidence-based practices and infection control protocols at all times Maintain accurate and timely documentation Respond appropriately to emergent situations and participate actively in multidisciplinary care planning This position is perfect for experienced CVOR RNs seeking variety, challenge, and professional growth in a supportive environment.
