Registered Nurse - Home Health

Job description Summary Registered Nurses at Yadkin Valley Home Health provides and directs the provision of home nursing care, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process. Yadkin Valley Home Health proudly serves Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.

Education and Formal Training:

Associate degree in nursing, RN licensed in the State of North Carolina. Current CPR or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Work Experience:

Minimum of one year of nursing experience required. Must have a valid Driver License, reliable transportation, and a satisfactory driving record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must be able to quickly develop thorough knowledge of home health regulations and all relevant policies.
