Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care (LTC) facilities, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to elderly or disabled individuals who require medical assistance on a long-term basis. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of residents while promoting their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' medical needs and develop personalized care plans Administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor residents' vital signs Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families Adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards in nursing practice Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
