Job Description

Registered Nurse Manager (RN) Seven Hills Foundation, Crotched Mountain School $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Greenfield, New Hampshire | $75,000 - $95,000 annually This is not your typical nursing job… and that's exactly why you'll love it. Imagine your new role as the RN Manager at Crotched Mountain School…you will walk into a place where energy fills the air — sometimes loud, sometimes unpredictable, often beautifully chaotic. You will hear laughter, vocalizations, music, and moments of frustration all woven together. You will support youth who may not speak with words, but who communicate in ways that will challenge you, teach you, and ultimately change you. You will care for students with complex neurodevelopmental disabilities — individuals with intellectual and developmental differences, co-existing psychiatric needs and medical conditions. Some days will test your skills. Many days will open your mind. Every day will matter. And through it all, you will be part of something extraordinary. Where You'll Be… You will work on a breathtaking campus in New Hampshire's Monadnock region — where hiking trails, lakes, and wide-open spaces meet a one-of-a-kind therapeutic school environment. You will see students learning not just in classrooms, but in pools, on trails, in sensory spaces, and in moments of connection that don't show up in textbooks. Over the past three years, Seven Hills has been revitalizing this historic program: expanding services, welcoming new students, and building a passionate team of clinicians, educators, and caregivers who make extraordinary things possible for youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities. What You Will Do… Deliver hands-on, highly skilled nursing care to students and staff — responding to real-time needs from illness and injury to ongoing complex medical conditions. Perform clinical tasks like assessments and blood draws. Step in where needed, ensuring no student goes without care. Connect the dots between medical care, education, and residential life. Collaborate with physicians, attend appointments, and help guide treatment plans. Guide and support a nursing team, helping them grow in skill and confidence. Train staff, oversee medication protocols, and be a trusted resource across the program. Ensure documentation is accurate and timely. • Create a safe, compliant, and supportive environment where both staff and students can succeed. And most importantly, you will treat every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion — even in the most challenging moments. Who You Are… You will bring both skill and resilience to this role. You understand that meaningful work isn't always easy — and that's what makes it meaningful. You hold an RN license in New Hampshire Have experience leading or supervising others Have worked with individuals with disabilities (or are eager to) Are calm in the storm, steady under pressure, and compassionate at your core Are comfortable supporting youth ages 5-22 with varying neurodevelopmental disabilities, including those who may express themselves through challenging behaviors What You Will Gain… You will gain more than a paycheck — you will gain purpose. $10,000 sign-on bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance through BCBS Retirement plan with generous employer match (25-33% based on tenure) Paid time off (3 weeks), sick time (10 days), and personal days (3 days) 11 paid holidays Paid training, tuition support, and student loan assistance Non-profit employer - eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) A wide range of additional benefits (such as legal and pet insurance, EAP, discount program, and more) The Part No Job Description Can Fully Capture… You will celebrate victories that others might overlook — a moment of eye contact, a successful transition, a calm day after many hard ones. You will build trust with students who may not trust easily. You will go home every day knowing your work matters. Ready to see what's possible? This is more than just a job. At Crotched Mountain School, you will be part of a unique program that provides 1:1 therapeutic education for those that cannot be supported in a traditional public school environment. This is their place to shine, and this is your place to be a part of that. — and start making a difference that lasts.
