The Idaho Department of juvenile Corrections (IDJC) is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse, Manager (RN). This is a full-time position located at our facility in Lewiston, Idaho. The RN Manager provides consultation and acts as a liaison between medical staff, program staff, community healthcare providers, and both in-state and out-of-state contracting partners. This position is also responsible for budgetary oversight, participation in policy and procedure development, and maintaining quality assurance programs to ensure the highest level of care for youth in IDJC custody. State juvenile correctional centers are located in Lewiston, Nampa, and St. Anthony and provide a full complement of services for youth who range from 10 to 20 years of age. This position reports directly to the Facility Administrator and works collaboratively with statewide and facility leadership to ensure the health, safety, and medical care of youth in custody.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the Facility Health Authority, overseeing all medical operations, nursing services, and quality assurance programs. + Ensure compliance with IDAPA, state laws, and professional nursing standards. + Develop, monitor, and evaluate nursing services, policies, and procedures to ensure quality and compliance. + Supervise and provide leadership for licensed medical staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. + Conduct audits of medical records and documentation + Monitor and assist with pharmaceutical management of complex medication regimens and delivery of medications for youth. + Participate in long-range planning, budget management, and policy development related
