Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract A skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in MS Oncology is needed for a full-time contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse who practices independently, demonstrates sound clinical judgment, and is committed to providing both routine and complex care for oncology patients. The assignment is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Qualifications:
Current RN license in NM or compact state BLS certification (American Heart Association) Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred At least one year of experience in oncology nursing or a related specialty preferred Proficiency in independent clinical practice and delegation of care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness Thoroughly document patient history, symptoms, and all aspects of care Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers about care and available resources Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, assign and delegate tasks appropriately to manage clinical situations
