This is a PRN opportunity Monday - Friday and occasional Saturdays. We provide out-patient clinic services to enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft.

Belvoir Community Hospital Position Highlights:

Position Responsibilities:

Patient assessment, triage, and monitoring Execution of physicians' orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice Provide treatment and discharge instructions upon patient release Documentation of patient care and observations Patient education and emotional support

Position Requirements:

Saturday Shifts:

6am to 2pm Triage experience preferred Must be a US citizen Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact At least 2-years' experience as a Primary Care RN Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Excellent customer service skills. An understanding of medical and clinic settings. Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
