Minimum Qualifications:

ò Current RN license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, or non-renewable temporary practice permit. ò Minimum 1 year experience in a psychiatric setting. ò Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications. ò

Position Responsibilities:

ò Develop, implement, update, evaluate, and revise interdisciplinary age-specific patient Plans of Care based on continuous assessment of patient data. ò Integrate general nursing practice with interventions for emotionally ill patients according to approved standards and patient treatment plans. ò Identify and utilize effective de-escalation measures as alternatives to seclusion or restraints. ò Ensure patient safety at all times, aware of measures such as contraband checks, restraints/seclusion, and suicide precautions. ò Maintain routine and precautionary monitoring, including 1:1 observation, reporting, and recording patient physical and emotional status, activities, and behavior.
