In Person Overview VitalCare Dialysis is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Dialysis team. We provide dialysis services to hospitals across Oklahoma and are looking for nurses who thrive in fast-paced acute care environments while delivering exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident working independently, communicates effectively with physicians and hospital staff, and is passionate about patient advocacy and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Perform acute hemodialysis treatments in hospital settings Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV therapies, and other nursing interventions as ordered Operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment safely and effectively Collaborate with nephrologists, hospital staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR systems Follow infection control policies, safety standards, and dialysis protocols Educate patients and families regarding dialysis treatments, procedures, and care plans Assist with emergency dialysis needs and participate in on-call rotation when required Provide compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic renal conditions Qualifications Current Oklahoma RN license in good standing Dialysis experience preferred; acute dialysis experience strongly preferred ICU, ER, critical care, or hospital experience is beneficial Strong assessment, IV, and patient care skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in acute care environments Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech preferred Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Must be dependable, flexible, and patient-focused What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Paid time off Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a growing independent acute dialysis provider serving hospitals throughout Oklahoma Apply Today We would love the opportunity to speak with you about joining our team.
