Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our morning shift team. This pivotal role involves overseeing patient care delivery, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and maintaining excellent patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for senior and long-term care. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff during the morning shift to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to maintain accurate health records. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and safety standards across all nursing operations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, medication administration, and complex medical procedures such as IV infusion and catheter care. Provide mentorship and supervision to nurses and support staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on quality care. Monitor compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations including
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards and utilization review processes. Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and external healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Skills Extensive background working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or memory care needs. Proficiency in PCC
  • Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation and patient management.
Demonstrated leadership in nurse management roles with supervising experience in medical-surgical or hospital environments. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography or spinal tap procedures. Skilled in medication administration, IV insertion/infusion techniques, sterile processing, and infection control practices. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs measurement, physical examinations, tube feeding management, and airway management. Excellent communication skills for triage situations, family education on health coaching or discharge planning. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification along with other relevant credentials such as NCQA standards familiarity or neonatal ventilator experience is preferred.
