The Radiologic Technologist (R) works under the supervision of the Director, Associate Director, Manager, Lead Technologist and/or Clinic Manager. The technologist is responsible for performing a variety of procedures requiring independent judgement and knowledgeable performance. The technologist will operate equipment safely producing quality images for diagnostic purposes and maintain equipment and supplies. Opens a new window. Skills and Abilities Essential Technical/Motor Skills

• Inputting data, calibrating equipment, answering telephone, speaking clearly, manipulating small items, fine motor skills, knowledge of body mechanics and CPR.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Interpersonal Skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with patients, staff, visitors, physicians, etc.
• Must work well as a team member. Essential Physical Requirements
• Moving equipment, pushing, pulling, lifting 35 lbs., walking, restraining, standing, and kneeling. Essential Mental Abilities
• Manipulate numbers, explain procedures, evaluate patient's condition and take immediate action, calculating exposure factors. Essential Sensory Requirements
• Visual skills to read equipment settings, hear audio signals, reading computer screens. Exposure to Hazards
