Job Description
Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a proven track record of delivering quality patient care. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing essential respiratory therapies throughout a hospital environment.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week 12-hour night shiftsQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS mandated Ability to float between all units as needed Previous clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital or acute care setting preferred Knowledge of a wide range of respiratory modalities and treatments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to teamworkKey Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for diverse patient populations Administer prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, such as nebulizer treatments, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy Respond promptly to code situations and provide emergency respiratory interventions Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal, coordinated care Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocols Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, equipment, and self-care techniques Promote a safe, compassionate environment at all times This contract offers the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled healthcare professionals in a supportive setting, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes.
