Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with broad clinical expertise and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

3 twelve-hour night shifts per week

Qualifications:

Current and valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT or RRT) Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Proven ability to float and adapt to all units as needed Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills Prior experience in acute care hospital settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy to patients across diverse units, adapting to varied clinical needs Perform ventilator management, airway care, respiratory diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions under physician direction Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when required Document all assessments, therapies, and patient responses accurately in medical records Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use as appropriate Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other allied healthcare professionals for seamless patient care
