Job Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
  • Cardiopulmonary Help Us Catch Our Breath! Respiratory Therapist
  • CRT or RRT $15,000
  • $20,000 Sign On Agreement!
SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for the set up and operation of various types of Respiratory Therapy equipment to be utilized in patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
Experience:
1 year acute care experience
License/Certification:
Current Arkansas Respiratory License in good standing. Certified by the NBRC or eligible by being a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program. BLS required.
Preferred Education:
Associates Degree, ACLS certification, ACCS certification,
PALS, NRP Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Must have the ability to move about freely and stand and walk for extended periods of time, respond quickly to emergencies, occassionally bend, squat, and twist, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull rolling equipment up to 400 pounds using proper body mechanics. Will spend eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
Work Environment :
Clinical setting in hospital environment for both inpatients and outpatients
Note:
Sign On Bonus available per Sign On Agreement Requirements.
