Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 / hr based on experience We are not your average vet clinic. Fear Free is not a badge on the wall here — it is how we actually practice. We take time with patients, explain everything to clients, and hold ourselves to a high standard because that is what the animals in our care deserve. About this role This is a full clinical RVT position at a busy four-doctor practice. You will work collaboratively alongside our doctors and team every day — supporting each other, stepping up when cases get complex, and pitching in wherever the shift needs you. No two days look the same here. We move fluidly between routine wellness appointments and urgent cases, and we need someone who can read the room, help set the pace, and keep quality care consistent from the first appointment to the last. We are looking for someone who goes above and beyond — not just for their own cases, but for the team. Someone who sees the bigger picture, helps a teammate who is in the weeds, and brings a willingness to both learn and teach every single day. You might be a great fit if you Genuinely love animals and want to practice medicine the right way Collaborate naturally and make the team around you better Can manage your own cases while keeping an eye out for a teammate who needs help Shift gears smoothly — from a routine appointment to an emergency — without missing a beat Take ownership and notice what needs doing without being asked Stay calm and communicative when the appointment gets hard Come with an open mind and a genuine desire to keep learning and growing Are as comfortable teaching others as you are asking questions yourself Are reliable — when you say you will be there, you are there What you will do Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia Create discharge instructions and provide thorough client education Assist in surgical and dental procedures Assist doctors in exam rooms and communicate treatment plans Manage controlled substances and anesthesia logs Support and perform sedation and minor procedures Place IV catheters and administer IV fluids Maintain sterile technique in surgical suites Perform advanced diagnostics — radiology, cytology, ECGs Mentor and train veterinary assistants and technician assistants Run in-house labs: blood draws, UA, SNAP tests, ear cytologies Take on responsibilities as they come up and help where the team needs you most Pay and benefits Health insurance (FPH covers 99% of the cost) Fear Free certification Dental and vision insurance License renewal reimbursement 401(k) Scrub allowance Paid time off Pet care discounts and staff appreciation perks Continuing education allowance What we are looking for Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program Active Colorado RVT license required Experience with Fear Free handling techniques preferred Strong communicator — warm, clear, and honest with clients in all situations Ready to join the team?
