We are dedicated to providing compassionate medical care through progressive medicine tailored to the needs of the families we serve.
We're proud to offer k-laser therapy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, oral surgery, in-house laboratory, advanced soft tissue surgery, nutritional counseling, boarding & grooming, online pharmacy plus much more.
Monday
Assist in the triage of incoming patients, assessing their condition and prioritizing careRestrain and handle animals safely during examinations and proceduresCollect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimensPerform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasoundsProvide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stabilityAdminister medications as prescribed by veterinariansCommunicate treatment plans effectively with pet owners, ensuring they understand care instructionsPrepare animals and equipment for surgical proceduresAssist in anesthetic management during surgeriesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient careStay updated on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices

QualificationsWe're looking for:
A registered veterinary technician, 1+ years experience preferred but not requiredConsistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shiftsExcellent client communication and medical record management skillsComprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operationsExpertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniquesProficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimensExperience in radiographic positioning and image capture, with additional skills in dental radiography being a plusExperience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoringCommitment to professional ethics and continuous learningAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazardsThe ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and unwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinary setting.
