Registrar for Vantage Point Charter School 0.5 FTE at Penn Valley Union Elementary School District Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 5/21/2026 Contact Cathy Ruscica (530)432-7311 2305 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $17.54 - $20.30 Per Hour Length of Work Year 200 Days Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary The Registrar supports the charter school's daily operations by maintaining accurate student records, coordinating enrollment and attendance processes, and providing administrative support to three independent study teachers. This position serves as a primary point of contact for families and assists with student scheduling, data entry, compliance documentation, communication, and records management for independent study programs. In addition, the Registrar assists with school engagement and outreach activities, including coordinating graduation ceremonies, creating flyers and promotional materials for school activities, and preparing the school's monthly newsletter. The Registrar works collaboratively with school staff to ensure timely reporting, organization of cumulative records, and compliance with state and charter school requirements. This is a part-time position scheduled for 4 hours per day, 5 days per week Requirements / Qualifications Requires passage of pre-employment proficiency exams and typing test (minimum 40 wpm).
