The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. Pali Momi's Physical Therapy department strives to help patients improve function and mobility. We provide services to people of all ages and geographical locations through our many outpatient clinics as well as to patients at our hospitals. Our individualized care plans are delivered by licensed physical therapists and professionals who promote patient understanding of her or his health condition and how to manage it so that they can remain engaged with their rehabilitation, even when they are no longer in treatment. As the Rehab Aide, you will have the opportunity to deliver life-changing rehabilitative and therapeutic services to patients of Pali Momi.

Your responsibilities include:

assisting licensed Physical Therapists with the positioning, lifting, transferring and treatment of patients; obtaining the necessary equipment for patient care; maintaining equipment inventory within the department; and performing and recording infection control activities for the department. Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of rehabilitation services, patient services, or customer service-related experience in a health care setting.
